Went past the Albert Hall and the Albert Memorial - very impressive indeed!
Got the tube to Camden Town and had a lovely wander around the market. A huge market even on a Monday, just goes on and on. Not so busy on a Monday as on the weekend.
Went on the water bus (canal boat) down to Little Venice, a distance of 2 miles from Camden Lock and 2 miles back. The return trip takes 2 hours, a very slow but totally relaxing journey.
This evening we had dinner with Dean's Mum and his sister, Terri. We went to a nice Italian restaurant near the suburb they live in. It was lovely to see them and we'll catch up again on the 18th of May when we are transitting through Heathrow on our way home. A pleasant evening but we all were overcome with tiredness by about 9.30, so we caught the tube back 'home' to the hotel. Very sleepy now. I think it has caught up with us finally. Off to bed. Grandma has her hotwater bottle and flannelette jamies so she'll be comfy and Andi and I are in our nighties. We're comfy too. Off to bed for us all.
